I joined Castanea in 2010 as the Controller.
My responsibilities include partnership accounting and reporting, compliance record keeping and certifications, and other financial and system tasks.
I began my career at Touche Ross right after graduating from Boston College and passing the CPA exam. I had the traditional entry-level, Big 8 job performing audits of numerous Boston-based companies. Subsequent to my audit years, I held client service roles at a software company and a professional services firm. My favorite industries have always been retail and consumer products. While others disliked the evening and weekend inventory observations, I always enjoyed seeing the factories, stores, products, and all else tangible that I would eventually audit or report on.
I live in a Boston suburb with my husband and our three children. I enjoy reading on my Kindle, watching my children’s sporting and school events, traveling with my family and friends, color-coding spreadsheets, and trying out new apple recipes.
