Rajesh joined Castanea Partners in 2007 from HarbourVest Partners, where he was an Associate in the Secondary Investment Group.

While at HarbourVest, Raj completed a number of secondary private equity transactions. His responsibilities included analyzing, structuring, and monitoring direct portfolios and large buyout opportunities. Prior to this, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Diversified Industrials Group of J.P. Morgan, where he advised clients on merger & acquisitions as well as equity and debt offerings.

Raj received a BA in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Chicago.
