Fuller Gets Award

September 21, 2006 -- WESTON -- CEO Roundtable LLC has honored Sarah Fuller of Weston, president and COO of Decision Resources Inc., with the second annual CEO Roundtable Leadership Award.

Fuller is the president, chief operating officer and board director of Decision Resources Inc., one of the world's leading research and advisory firms focusing on pharmaceutical and health care issues. The Waltham, Mass.-based company is known for its therapeutically-focused analyses of global pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets and for its research on the U.S. managed care industry through its HealthLeaders-InterStudy subsidiary.

Fuller is a longtime member of CEO Roundtable. In his remarks Loren Carlson, chairman of CEO Roundtable, stressed that Fuller is a leading example of enlightened business leadership. She has proved that forgoing short-term personal financial gain for other business values can increase the long-term returns for all.

Fuller had several options when selling a majority share in the company but she chose the one that she believed gave the company and the employees the best chance at staying focused on the mission of providing the best information to its customers.

Several members of Fuller's Roundtable peer group added their observations of why she deserves the CEO Roundtable Leadership Award, noting the low employee turnover, the strategic consistency and the life balance at Decision Resources.

Fuller's current responsibilities include driving double digit growth in revenues and profits for Decision Resources Inc., as well as building new partnerships such as their recent joint venture with PharMetrics and the acquisition of Millennium Research Group that leverage Decision Resources' core therapeutic competency to build new service offerings.

Previously, Fuller was a vice president at Arthur D. Little Inc., a consulting firm with specialties in many sectors including chemical, pharmaceutical and high-tech. During her 29 years at Decision Resources, she has served 20 years as its president.

In 2003, Castanea Partners and Boston Ventures Limited Partnership VI became the majority shareholders in Decision Resources. Fuller continues to serve as its president, COO and board director.

Fuller is on the board of Cultural Survival, a Harvard University-affiliated nonprofit organization that promotes the vision, rights and voice of indigenous people, and the Huntsman's Program at the University of Pennsylvania. She has led numerous worldwide consulting studies focusing on management and strategy issues within the pharmaceutical industry.
