We bring our founders’ specialized industry knowledge and general operating expertise to all our investments.
The broader Castanea team has significant private equity experience analyzing, structuring and completing transactions. In addition, the strategy consulting backgrounds of our team allows us to support management with skilled resources to pursue strategic opportunities within portfolio companies. We’ve assembled a larger team than is normal for a fund our size to allow greater responsiveness to new opportunities.

Investing Our Own Capital
Our founding partners committed a substantial amount of capital to all three Castanea funds. In addition, other Castanea professionals personally co-invest in each opportunity. Investing our own money affords us several advantages:
