Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts BayBig Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay helps girls and boys achieve their full potential by matching them with volunteers. |

Big Sisters Association of Greater BostonSince 1951, Big Sister Association of Greater Boston has been helping girls reach their full potential through positive mentoring relationships with women. Big Sister is the largest mentoring organization in Greater Boston exclusively serving girls, covering 69 cities and towns. |

Boston AstrosThe Astros program was incorporated as part of SEB in 1987. Established by Robert Lewis, Jr. and Jose Ruiz in the late 1970s, the Astros originated at the Villa Victoria Housing Development in the South End neighborhood of Boston. The community baseball program was developed to provide youth from Villa Victoria with opportunities to engage in forms of healthy competition and athletic activity while also keeping young people out of trouble. |

Children's Hospital BostonChildren's Hospital Boston is a 396-bed comprehensive center for pediatric health care. As one of the largest pediatric medical centers in the United States, Children's offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth through 21 years of age. |

Christmas in the CityChristmas in the City was founded by John "Jake" Kennedy and Patricia "Sparky" Kennedy, who wanted their children to be familiar with people less fortunate than themselves. At the same time, John and his brother Richard had noticed a favorable fundraising situation: Over the years, the project has grown to undreamed-of proportions, and currently helps provide for thousands of Boston's less-fortunate children. |

Rosie's PlaceRosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women, offers emergency and long-term assistance to women who have nowhere else to turn. Founded in 1974, Rosie’s Place welcomes each guest with respect and unconditional love. Rosie’s Place accepts no government funds, and relies instead on committed volunteers and private supporters to accomplish its effective and innovative work. |
